Jon Jenkins Joins Casino Snoqualmie as Chief Executive Officer

Casino Snoqualmie announced on May 6th, 2011 the appointment of Mr. Jon T. Jenkins as the CEO (Chief Executive Officer) of its facility. Jenkins assumes the position after more than thirty years in the gambling industry, half of which was spent in tribal casino facilities. Aside from his immense knowledge in the gaming industry, Jenkins has a solid background in the hospitality and marketing portion of the business. Jenkins said that the Snoqualmie Casino is one of the most exquisite gaming establishments in the Northwest. He said that he is looking forward to improving the gaming experience of their customers and taking care of their employees. As CEO, Jenkins will handle the strategic director for the facility's gambling operations as well as represent the facility to business and financial communities, players, staff, government organizations and tribal officials. The Vice-Chair of the Snoqualmie Indian Tribe, Mary Anne Hinzman, said that they have known Jenkins for quite some time and they have always admire his leadership skills and his respect for Indian tribe traditions. Before assuming the CEO position at Snoqualmie Casino, Jon Jenkins has spent nearly fourteen years as the president and Chief Executive Officer of Talking Stick Resort and Casino Arizona. Under Jenkins' leadership, both gaming facilities became two of the top casinos in Arizona. Also in Arizona, Jenkins managed the Apache Gold Resort for the San Carlos Apache Tribe. Aside from that, he co-founded Game Plan Incorporated, a public group that managed gambling services for two Menominee tribe casino facilities in Green Bay, Wisconsin. Jenkins said that it is with great pride that he accepts his new position as Chief Executive Officer of the Snoqualmie Casino. He said that he is looking forward to working with Snoqualmie tribe officials and the casino's employees.
